Age is a very important theme in my life. Age regression is a complicated phenomenon which I don't know how to easily define. It involves an altered modality of the mind. It can appear like someone is drunk, but the etymology of the name comes from the idea that it's when someone returns to an earlier mental state. I'd say that I have a healthy relationship with age, albeit a very complicated one. One I have spent a lot of time on and continue to do so. My relationships have all, excepting one, have revolved around age regression. I tried to go without it for a few years in a relationship that was not really suitable for it and found that my life is just not happy unless this part of me is given space to exist.
Age regression has a very intimate connection to childhood trauma for myself and many others. I was abused pretty badly as a child but it feels quite distant now. I've been heavily dissociated lately, isn't every article an artifact of its author? I think so, so I'll include those ephemeral feelings I suppose. Age regression is for me deeply sensory, a way of feeling and being about the world. I feel smaller, but also less inhibited. Everyone is different, I become very talkative, somewhat awkward, open, and candid. As long as I trust my caretaker. Many others are quite quiet :)
